Simple yet adequate for the type of living it is intended for…! A clean design with plenty of room to make it your own…

Seriously suggest either a stainless steel, or tile backsplash on all walls around  cook stoves.  Not only makes it easier to clean, but as a fireproof safety feature.

Very clean and neat! Love the punch of red! Probably because I just used a similar red in some renovations we recently did! 🙂

Looks good but I need more pictures to fully comment on it.

No railings above is a bit risky. Simply waking and not knowing where we are could cause tumbling over the edge.

      mahdu,

I like your comment about wakening to risk-taking while wandering in a TH (“…not knowing where we are…”).

Joyously, Lady Liberty is on wheels, so it can be almost anyplace you want… on the edge or amongst the midst! Here’s to simply living!

Bwa ha ha, I think mahdu was more meaning in that dozy sleepy stage where you might think that you are getting out of bed onto a normal standard floor, not one with a 6’6″ plus drop to the TH floor.

A great TH for those who are first home beginners. For the outside, blue would not be my first choice.

As for the red white and blue paint job, it does not remind me of the statue of liberty what so ever… As a matter of fact the only red white and blue I saw at the statue was an American Flag that waves proudly beside it on the right, as you look at the statue face to face kinda….! So I have no idea why anyone would call this the Lady Liberty Tiny House… But the thought was nice anyway….!

I think they chose the name since red, white and blue are America’s colors.

I understand the those are the American colors, But what does that have to do with the Statue Of Liberty, which has nothing to do with the US colors at all….? As I said the only Red, White, And blue on that Island is a small american flag in the back round because it is a National Park, and nothing to do with the statue….!

I like the plane sloping roof. I think this is the lightest, quickest-to-build, cheapest, least-likely-to-leak least-top-heavy roof there is.
Please imagine a loft that has a small area of floor just 4-5 feet above the main floor, over a washing machine or closet or anything that doesn’t need headroom. Users of the loft could stand upright to dress, and to make the bed. A bed 30 or so inches above the floor it’s on is no hassle, and standing room would surely be welcome.

Keith, I am happy to hear of another person who likes the headroom to be in the bedroom. I have always been impressed with Macy Miller’s design (MiniMotives) with only a few steps up to the bedroom and storage/closet underneath. A laundry area would work as well. By utilizing the design of the gooseneck trailer, one could build storage inside, under the bedroom, and outside under the bedroom, have a bay window (with storage below) at the end for plants, and enough room for a “library” on one wall. Plants and books are the two hardest things with which to think about parting, for me anyways. This doesn’t require slouching or having to get on my knees on the bed to make the bed or access the other side. (Some don’t require a large bed to take up the entire room. This is just how I would personalize it.) Definitely a win-win in my mind!

All good ideas, Susan. I really love gooseneck designs as well!

A rectangular or square sink would be more practical.

Thank you for sharing your THOW with us. As for Lady Liberty, it could also be for the freedom both “She” and the THOW have in common. Just a thought. Happy trails! God bless each of you and your Tiny Houses.
