Bravo, Karin, I love your house. It looks very well thought out and organized. I love your kitty window, great addition! You inspire me to do more with my 9×25 cabin. Wish I’d found this site before mine was built. Enjoy your tiny house, you’ve worked hard on it……

The ladder idea is brilliant. 🙂

    Karin,

Wow! Your house is adorable!! You did such a lovely job! I love how you designed it, what a great idea to store your off seasoned clothes in those beautiful baskets. Not only are you using it for storage but it’s a great decorating idea!! I love your stairs the fact that you can show off your decorations and that you can see through them. At first I thought you had a real oven, I would not even realized it unless I saw your video. Also I love your pet windows, your kitty must really love checking out the birds, and squirrels. Your kitty is adorable!! I forgot to mention that your living room looks so cozy and comfy. Awesome garden!! The best thing you got is very little bills and your home is exactly the way you want it. Thank you for showing us your cute place!! Enjoy it!!

Thank you for sharing your house with us just as it is – a real house where a real person lives. Sometimes the homes we see are antiseptically clean, which is nice, but your photos give others a chance to really imagine a real life in a tiny home.

And not to forget to mention, nicely done! Really nice use of space.

I like the mini-French doors that open on the long side of the house, and that they open to the outside. I have always loved French doors but thought they would take up too much space on a tiny house. I also like Karin’s upbeat and enthusiastic style. Very inspiring!

In the youtube comment section, the owner says:
      “karin parramore 2 weeks ago
+foxthorne I made the doors from two sidelights I found at the rebuilding center. In case you don’t know that term, sidelights are the two windowed panels that are found on either side of the front door in a big house. I wanted a narrow outward-opening door.”

      Sidelights!

Very clever! I LOVE that look. Lots of TH owners put in the sliding glass doors. They let in light, but I think they take up too much space. and being a city person, I don’t feel safe enough with sliding glass doors. I have always loved the french door look, though. I like the whole grand entry 2 doors with the transom window at the top(as shown in link). Zyl Vardos’ “little bird” comes to mind. He also builds enchanting half circle steps!
That look in a tiny house is fantastic. The awning, the cat door and window, the tiny house community. Amazeballs!

As a fan of blue, I fell in love with this tiny periwinkle home. You, Karin, have done an incredible job in simplifying your life and incorporating that joyful simplicity into your design. Two things that impressed me the most are the amazing stairs and the storage loft. Thanks to your artful floor plan this home looks far larger than it is.

You did a terrific job on your little home — I am sure you will have many happy years living in it. Well done and very functional. Kudos to you, this is something you can be very proud of.

Love the house but I like the original outside color better. I probably would have used some darker tan so that it doesn’t contrast to much with the roof color.
