How to Make a Solar Cooker

In this video Dan Rojas shows you how to make a solar cooker.

He uses a clear piece of vinyl that’s attached to wood.

He then fills the vinyl up with some water and uses the sun to do the work.

I was amazed at how powerful the lens he creates are.

With just water + plastic + sun he’s able to create fire.

As long as you have access to the sun you can fry eggs quickly and easily with this set up.

I’m SO upset! WHY didn’t you post the 180 cottages for auction LAST month, or the month before?!!! Instead, you published it today. The auction was THIS MORNING. The one bdrms sold for $9000 – $14,000.

I wish I had known about it before this morning.

This is great. I can see how I can scale it smaller and use it to cook and later shower. Thanks Alex.

Any reason for the height? I could see it built on wheels, which you could roll over an old-fashioned cast iron stove or charcoal BBQ to get it started.
