This is Gil and Betty’s Little Camelot by Timber Building Company in South Boston, Virginia. I know you all like seeing lived-in homes with first floor bedrooms, and the Timber Building Company wrote on Facebook about the house:

One of the most exciting parts of tiny house building is seeing how the owners turn their tiny house into a home. Last weekend, I got a chance to visit Gil and Betty, owners of Little Camelot, and take a tour of the home. It is the ultimate in cozy, functional, and beautiful!

Gil and Betty’s Little Camelot by Timber Building Company

Spacious and lovely living room with tons of windows!

Comfy couches fit easily underneath the vaulted ceilings.

What do you think of the chandelier in here?

Heated and cooled with a mini-split. Great!

The kitchen has space for full-sized appliances if you like to cook.

I need one of these in my kitchen! Great pantry storage.

I like the big, deep sink for washing dishes.

Front door leads into the main living space.

Master bedroom with tons of closet space (first floor!)

Nice little spot for the hutch/desk between the closets.

Even a little bit more space above the closets.

Separate entrance leads into the bedroom.

Bathroom with nice-sized vanity for getting ready.

Simple residential toilet and shower stall.

Over-the-toilet storage for towels and more.

    The beside-the-fridge storage is GENIUS!!

The house is lovely, but to me, it looks too much like a mobile home, and not a tiny THOW. I would try to shrink the bath, full size appliances and double couches to make it fit a smaller trailer. I do love the decorating with antiques and the single level design, though.

Depending how/where it is located, I would give up some space for a bathtub but other than that, I love it!!!

What did it cost with the inside finished?

Instead of a countertop microwave, I’d put in a microhood over the stove, to add exhaust filtration and lighting, and an 18″ portable dishwasher (more compact than full-size, but just as functional) so as not to break up cabinet storage, I could roll around on the floor to double as an extra work surface.
