I love houseboats, but this one looks as if it were a house of ill repute.. That purple is loud as heck, which makes you scratch your head in wonder… But once you have gotten past that it is wonderful, a great houseboat layout very open and spacious… I would say it is one of the better houseboat designs of this type….
    Enjoy…!

The purple certainly is loud, I love it, but agree it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s my house and I can assure you it’s far from a house of ill repute, I work in a library for goodness sakes! The layout is pretty great, sad to be moving on.

Where Is the land you have available for a tiny house?

Purple is Fashionable, Current, Pleasant. But because the interior is too Formal? Elegant internally, externally, Vibrant Whimsical.

What a perfect description! I also love the juxtaposition of the outside with the inside. It feels like a tiny cabin on the water. I will miss it when it sells.

I always get so excited whenever I see a nice houseboat. I’d love to have one. But then I remember the docking fees, the support fees, the maintenance fees, etc., and the whole picutre falls apart. Houseboats used to be the next thing to flop houses until the real estate industry codified everything and assigned inflated pricing. With all of the undeveloped land we have in this country, everyone should have whatever they need or possibly want. But low wage jobs, no wage jobs, obscene pricing, and hostile economic factions have put any flights of fancy beyond our reach. (This is why I’ll be very grateful to finally get settled in my THOW.)

I’d love to see the upstairs. I didn’t see how many bedrooms in the description.

I think it is beautiful! Can you tell me what the beam is? How much water does it draw? What is hull made of? When was it built? How much does it weigh? Thank you. Bill

I particularly like the outside configeration, but not the loud purple, again, two each his own. The ship’s ladder and the upper deck are my favorite things about this houseboat. If it were mine, I would paint the interior white so that it was light, airy, and beachy.

I have family who would love to live enveloped in purple.

I have concerns with the inside. It doesn’t seem to have windows to look out over the water and it seems really dark. Why is there a string of tiny lights strung all over the kitchen counter? I did not see a bedroom.

If it is a floating cottage, does that mean it has to be towed (over land or water) to be moved?

You could free up some counter space by putting a microwave/vent hood above the stove.

It IS surprisingly, amazingly spacious inside. I love the shape of the second story. I hope you get a great offer for it.
