Fanni Wohnwagon Tiny House in Austria

This is the stunning Fanni Wohnwagon Tiny House in Austria (Think “Sound of Music,” not kangaroos!).

Wohnwagon is a fairly new start-up company, but they are eager to work on internationalization, and would be willing to get you a tiny house — somehow! — no matter where you live. They offer customization and awesome off-grid and sustainable options, including using grey water to grow plants on the roof! How amazing 🙂

This particular model features a lovely modern-cottage feel, with navy and white accents, and you can rent it. It’s a fully sustainable “hotel room” for an Austrian vacation.

Wow, this is a new generation! Gorgeous. I love the water circulating stove and off-grid solutions in this design.

Those are what make these above-and-beyond fantastic. The living roof is the best! I need one 🙂

Wow, I really like not only the color scheme but also the overall charm. That wood burner stove is delightful and wondering if that is available in the USA.

I’m a bit confused about https://tinyhousetalk.com/wp-content/uploads/Wohnwagon-Guest-House-Fanni-5-600×400.jpg what this image portrays as it looks like it could be a separate bedroom in a slide out?

Yea the home is set up as kind of two buildings. So it’s not a THOW kind, but something mobile that could be transported 🙂

  • March 1, 2017, 6:52 pm

I love this tiny house design! I like how they have the bedroom downstairs. But for me if I was going to have company I would probably put up either hanging beads, or some type of partician to block the bedroom off from the rest of the house. I love the circulating stove, and their curtains along with the storage couches. Very nice set up! Thank you for sharing!?

I adored the curtains 🙂 Yes, a partition could be nice!

Wow! I love this. Love the round shape, curtains, chairs, stove, colors. Very soothing. Do you know the dimensions? Since it is set up kind of two buildings how do you move it? Do they sell plans? Thank-you for posting this…

They didn’t have dimensions posted — it looks from the website that it’s moved via flatbed and crane. I don’t think they sell plans. You can get tons more info on their website and they speak English so feel free to send an email 🙂

Love the design especially the fact that it’s all one floor. And Austria is the #1 country I hope to visit one day.

Love the stove. Too bad its out of stock and they don’t know if or when it will be available again. Type in Bruno Techno Mini and you can see other stoves that look just as cool as this one.

So, what’s the ground clearance in the middle ? It looks like next to nothing with that “basement” utility crawlspace. Not that I’m against the idea, it solves a lot of problems with THOW, but wouldn’t do well in rough country. Fine on good roads I guess.

It’s actually not for towing. If you look through their website they deliver it via flatbed truck, so it doesn’t have wheels. At least from what I could tell 🙂

Thanks Natalie ! I’ll dig deeper, missed that on my short look at the site last night. And I have to add it’s great how you respond to so many questions in so many of these comment sections. Always so helpful and upbeat. Well done !

I love the combo of the blue and white with the wood. This would work for different styles, just lovely! When do I move in? Austria is a beautiful country, I was lucky enough to visit after college and have always wanted to go back.

Yes I was loving the combo! Might need that in my house someday 🙂

I really love this TH. To put in another addition to it, makes for a nice change to the regular style of TH. It’s a great idea! Well done too!

Excellent BUT, to bring it up to code you must have a fire proof floor under the pot stove and it would not hurt to have it behind the stove, this way you could dry clothes or run water pipes up and down, use a miniture pool pump to circulate the hot water. I like the way it was rounded in the front…a great feature. And, if it was up just a foot or so, you could have a pull out bed for a guest.
    It looks so roomy.
