This is the story of how this young family is living simply in a school bus tiny house that they built themselves.

From the outside, it looks like a tiny cabin until you notice that it’s built right onto a school bus frame! When you go inside, you’ll find a cozy living area suitable for a family of three with room to sleep, store their belongings, play guitar, cook, eat, bathe, relax, and more!

I really like this home. I especially love the wood burning stove and hearth. However, I would rather be in labor for 22 days while at a dentist having all my teeth pulled with no anesthesia than have to try to make the bed. The bed and room it’s in is very cute though.

Liz, I’m still laughing!!! First thing I thought was, “How do you make that bed???” My bed is only set against the wall, and it is a PIA to make. And I’m too old with bad knees to climb up to the loft.

Other than that, this bus conversation is perfect. I’m in love with the quality workmanship – and the colors are perfect, too.

OK, I’m ready to move in! 😉

Agree Best I’ve ever seen by far!
The above description is best also! 22 days in labor in dentists chair… Omgosh I’m stealing that. So funny

No doubt the most beautiful tiny house bus I have ever seen. Do you drive it around?

They have really done a beautiful job with this home. Nice homey decor without being too cluttered and it appears to have a good amount of storage. Great job!

Charming. I wonder where the two year old sleeps, but the bath appears to be between the kitchen and the cab of the bus. Beautiful work.

I think this is beautiful, one of my very favorites.two questions. But I have two questions:
    Where does the child sleep?
And why bother to build this on the bus frame? To satisfy zoning?

For sure to satisfy zoning. The wheels are still there and it is not tied on to a foundation, therefore it is classified as an RV.

Technically it can move to another location. Technically being “well dang it, it was running last week, don’t know why it isn’t right now Mr building inspector.”

I totally agree it’s just beautiful and I’d love to own a tiny home just like this one except for the actual bus. Seeing as it’s seems to be a static home considering the fact that the toilet is normal and all the other static features like the garden, the steps outside the front door and the removable panel to connect to an extention is container. If seems pointless to build it on a buzz frame? Like said I would love one but in UK there are so many rules regulations and restrictions that even owning a piece of land wouldn’t make it possible. Or on the other hand if it really could be driven our road traffic department would find some reason to disallow it being driven on our roads. Anyway if they were to allow it, with all our traffic and pathetic roads I can’t imagine getting insurance to cover the replacement cost should some 🤡 clown smash into it.
As yet I haven’t seen an answer to the question CAN IT BE DRIVEN? I guess not, so is the buss cabin only a play room for their daughter or there for some nostalgic reason?

Love this transformation, great craftsmanship. Love to have that beautiful bed. This would be great as a stand alone home or on regular trailer. Great job guys!

    I love the ceiling.

As a retired restaurant owner, I need a powered exhaust fan over the range. Gas stoves create massive amounts of CO. Detectors (plural)?

This has to be one of the sweetest homes I’ve seen. It’s a combination of cottage and hobbit. I would love to see a design on a regular frame rather than the school bus. The bed has to be my favorite. I could see it even a bit lower to make the loft higher and steps designed into the drawer for easier access. All in all a beautiful, light and bright little space.

Wow! Great videos of a fantastic house and a wonderful couple of people. I also vote for them as the best tiny house in the world! I’m also copying that bed surround. Well done, and much happiness to you. I love the rv and the Chia House, too. Amazing!

This is one of my favorite bus converted tiny houses. Everything inside is built to accommodate belongings needed. I like that! Kudos!

This is a fairy tale come true, everything is confirmed. A dream of tender and romantic love come true. Where the frot of the bus is the surreal touch to complete the work.

    Absolutely stunning workmanship…
But, I too, was wondering where the child sleeps. Seems too young to sleep in that loft yet. Maybe dad is going to turn that front area into a delightful bedroom for his little girl?
