Evan and Gabby’s 117-square-foot Tiny House on Wheels

Evan and Gabby are newlyweds who are almost done building their own tiny house.

Gabby was the one who brought Evan on to the idea of simple living to this extreme.

They chose the Tumbleweed Tarleton building plans that Jay Shafer designed.

It’s Technically a Custom Built Travel Trailer

It’s really just a custom made RV so that’s what it will be registered as. This way they can move it around, stay at an RV park, or even in a friend’s backyard.

The design includes plenty of storage for enough of your stuff. You can get a full tour of the house right here.

List of Features in this Tiny House

The house features air conditioning and heating. There’s a built in desk as well as storage throughout. Inside there’s natural cork flooring and there’s a super cozy sleeping loft upstairs.

  • Bathroom with toilet & shower
  • Washer/dryer
  • Two-burner gas stove
  • Toaster oven
  • Sink
  • Refrigerator

You know…i think that the building of the house, the friends gathering to help out, the smiles…all make me wish i was part of the crew.
I’m now looking forward to part of building my home that i hadn’t considered before, the gathering of friends and family to help out.
I always wanted be part of a barn raising crew…
