I think I’ve found a new favorite ! I love all the window area and the clean, industrial look, although I’m undecided about the naked chipboard. Keeps the cost down, though. Going to check out the specs on their website.

Love it, except for the particle board, which I would have to eliminate…..just doesn’t wear well!!!

That’s a easy quick fix, Just paint over it..

Painting would definitely help with the looks, but would not really improve the wear much. Just haven’t had any good experiences with particle board!

That was my immediate thought. Not only does particleboard suck, its heavy. I really like the design, just would replace the exposed wood with solid wood and the un exposed with plywood. Great job on the place.

OK..here it is…a bathroom. Just not quite that off grid at my age. Very nice.

Horrible! Visibly so cheaply put together that the asking price should be half of that to be worth considering. The profit margin on this, incl. trailer and appliances, is at least $22,000. And yet, people “love it”. Wow! I guess I’ve seen a way to rip of people and leave them happy behind. 😉

I’m with you brother. I don’t like it at all. I agree that it looks cheap. It’s also very utilitarian looking. I think this is the first thing that I have seen on this website that I could not find anything that I liked about it. I am not trying to be mean, it’s just my opinion.

I do not think they are using particle board. Looks more like OSB (oriented strand board). I do not like the appearance of either and do not care for the out-gassing of the chemicals and glues used in the processing. The lay out seems like a good one. Are there storage drawers under the bed? I do like the look of the metal drawer fronts etc. I dislike kitchens which do not have the toaster and microwave ovens up on shelves and instead take up precious counter space with these appliances.

Lessee… cheap thin metal on the outside buckling all over the place… just like a typical RV. Not good.

OSB inside… not coated by the looks of things. Ugly as. Plus, as someone said, offgassing.

No stairs, or apparently, ladder to get into the upper bed.

All in all, to me, just plain ugly… and expensive to boot.

The floor plan is a copy of my all time favorite layout; the Thor Wanderer 211L. Here is a link to a sold listing that shows the best pics. The bed drops down to just over the couch if desired (not pictured).

While I may disagree with some minor details of their builds, I find the “Escape” products to be excellently designed, engineered and built. I strongly disagree with the people who believe these products are overpriced. This is a quality product at a reasonable price for what it is. If I were trying to build for the tiny house buyers, I am not sure what I would do. So many who comment here are very price sensitive with no knowledge of the costs of safely functioning systems. they want to pay for a plywood box on wheels, but would be the first to complain of issues with moisture, carbon monoxide and dioxide problems, heating, water storage and pressure, waste removal, electricity access ,,,, all the mechanical systems. A functioning house is complex.

Where is the living space? I see bathroom, kitchen and beds only.
Don’t tell me that the two stools for dining are the living area?
It could be easy achieved. Just make the upper bed as a lift up, eliminate the lower one and put a living space there.

This is only 5,000 lbs so less than half the weight of a lot of other timber tinies similar in size, so much easier to tow. It does seem worryingly low. No good for rough ground.

I would not expect anything less than great when buying from them, as all their models are built with great style and rational use of space, with clean lines and comfortable interior… Not to mention the appliances…!

Hmm! Looks more like a travelling workshop! Would be a handy thing too!
