Today I thought I’d show you one of the very first tiny houses on wheels. This cabin is made out of a tree that can grow up to 465 feet tall. And this one is built right onto a vehicle making it one of the first motorhomes we’ve ever seen.
I love being reminded of the fact that this idea of unique tiny homes is absolutely nothing new. And this wonderful creation from a century ago reminds us just that.

Alex, Every year at the New York State Fair, in Syracuse NY, there is a red wood log house similar to this one that people can walk through. it’s parked on the parade route inside the fair near the main gates. It is really nice, from the outside.

Gads! I hate to think what the gas consumption on that would be on the road… especially in such an OLD vehicle with long slow bore strokes.
Age-old customs and habits cause us to feel the need to have many things. A separate dining area may not be needed if you sit on your bed and eat with your plate in your lap. An office or library may not be needed if you study with a handheld computer. There are many rooms and pieces of furniture that are not really needed.
