I think you have this idea that ALL Tiny Houses should be cheap or low cost. Like RV’s, and regular houses there are Tiny Houses for 20k and Tiny Houses for 80k. Not everyone wants a cheap Tiny House, some want the freedom. Airstream trailers are over 100k. You also have to look at the exterior and the workman ship, how much woodworking was done (Exterior) this has a generator, also look at the glass vessel for a sink, those aren’t cheap, it’s also 29′ as opposed to 20.’ I like it for the full size stove that actually fits the space. If you want a cheap Tiny House buy a shell kit for 13K. When finished you would have a low cost Tiny House.

While there is some amount of truth in that, it depends on a few things, probably the biggest is who’s doing the work: you or a home builder. As for camper trailers and RVs, I can’t help but think those are priced with the type of buyer in mind, namely retired people who have a bit of money to spend. I’ve been in and worked on RV and trailers and they are NOT worth the asking price, they’re built from shoddy material at best. Speaking of, is that OSB board I see in that photo? How well does OSB stand up to slight flexing as this thing is being pulled, I wonder? And this one was designed with that in mind judging from the features. OSB is cheap and I would expect better in a house this price. Then again, the average home buyer isn’t going to notice or care, so what the heck.

Nice work on the inside, but like Zachary says, the price is too steep, even for me!

I’m not sure about this one. Something just doesn’t seem right to me about the design, and having a stove in front of a window isn’t the best choice. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either.

I like the asymmetrical roof and the whimsical shingles.

It’s difficult to see by the photos the actual layout. It always confuses me as to why someone would put a hot water tank into a tiny house. A tank less water heater makes so much more sense, considering the size.

The tankless water heaters require 20 PSI to work properly. Having decent water pressure is not always possible. Therefore, we opted to go for a more expensive alternative that would provide non-stop hot water.

Billy- I disagree that everyone would ” not care” about the materials used for their house… It’s just that we want to TRUST the builder as in everything else and assume you have a good product. That is what’s wrong these days. It’s insane!

Love the tiny home and its lay out.Though I personally would change a few things, give it my personal touch. It may very well be a little steep in price, but bare in mind.Your not going to buy furniture, appliances or bed.I’ve seen tinys that are smaller priced higher without furniture!I will have to say, The Destiny is priced just right. So grab your toothbrush, pack your clothes, get some groceries, other items like cook ware and such.Your done and home awesome no more paying rent!!!!
