He’s also the host of Tiny Yellow House and the blogger behind RelaxShacks.com. Let’s go…
Jay Shafer’s First Tumbleweed Tiny House: A Tour with Deek
The little house is currently in Boston and is actually up for sale. So if you really like it, consider inquiring below.
It hasn’t been lived in for a while so it isn’t currently furnished but it has a micro kitchen, living area, bathroom and upstairs sleeping loft.

Right now the house has the following features installed:
- Car stereo system
- Wood burning stove
- Built in cabinets and drawers
- Two-burner range stove
- Tiny sink
- Built-in hooks
Tiny House Upstairs Sleeping Loft
I thought this was a really well built sleeping loft. It’s got storage, a small television and a beautiful “Gothic” style window.

I forgot to mention… If you like this house, and want to build your own version of it Jay still sells the plans he created for it. They’re normally $859 but they’re on sale until November 30th, 2011… They’re 40% off right now so it’s a good time to order them if you see this house in your future. 🙂

Hey, thanks for sharing the video Alex! -Deek
My pleasure, Deek, glad you came by!
Cool house, it has held up well over the years. I like the woodburner but I think I would remove it and put in a smaller wall hung stove to add a little more room to the space. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it, Danielle! See ya!
