Why We Put Our Tiny House For Sale

We have not decided where we will go YET, but we have nailed it down to one continent. 🙂

Video Tour with Audio & Music

More From Debra Below..

Our house was built by SlabTown Customs. It is 10 x 38, including a 6 foot porch and a ‘stand up’ size loft. It will come furnished, with everything including the washer and dryer and Little Skippy Marine Stove. It has an additional refrigerator in the pantry.

Our price is very negotiable, depending on a myriad of factors numbered on the listing itself, so be sure to read the description  We purchased it unfinished, and did a lot of the finishing work ourselves, so we have some leeway.  Of course, no lowball offers will be considered, but most of the company I keep understands the value (and cost) of a house like ours.

Please spread the news, especially if you know someone who wants to simplify, or someone who wants a vacation cottage, or perhaps a guest cottage.  See the listing here: http://tinyhouselistings.com/shotgun-shack-family-sells-house/

I can count on ONE hand the amount of youtube videos over 5 minutes that I’ve watched to completion. Not only did I commit to the full 10:52 running time of Debra’s self-voiced video, but I watched it TWICE, always ending up with tears in my eyes.

Beautifully filmed; stunningly great use of space; loved Debra’s honesty of what brought them to living in a Tiny House (few people are that candid). If I lived by myself and had no children or grandchildren, I’d buy her home and move into it this afternoon as it has 100% of the Bells & Whistles that I look for in a home. For anyone SERIOUSLY interested in Debra’s house: it’s a STEAL!!!! Her house, fully furnished, runs @ $58/sq.ft. The recently relisted Jay Shafer house (empty), runs $371/sq.ft.!!!!! Yowsah!

One question, Debra: How do you get your water? Are you in a RV park? With a dishwasher, washing machine, shower and flush toilet, there’s got to be a source of plentiful water.

BEST of luck to you, your sweet husband, Max!, the kitty and the doggie in your move overseas. Stay safe wherever you travel and arrive back home, richer for the experience. <3

I can only dream. What I wouldn’t give to be able to buy your house. Someday…….. I just lost my job and don’t know how I will live at all. But looking at your sweet house at least helps me to dream.

Very interested in your house! Very excited but concerned about town restrictions of placing it on my land. Who do you need to contact to find out if its within town rules to park/live in the house full time?

THanks and good luck to you and your family.

Absolutely loved your house -even seeing it just in pictures. My husband and I are both 63. We have never owned a home and have no money to retire with. We are seriously thinking about a tiny house when we retire. My husband viewed the puctures and said, “Boy, I could really see us in something like that.”
Where is the house? Is it built to withstand 30 below temperatures in the winter?

I am 61 years old and widowed now and this is the perfect size of house for me and I love it. Thanks for showing it to us, I can not afford it, but I love to look and dream! Good Luck to you Debra in your new turn in life.

Where is the house located? And how much are you asking for it?

    Thank-you
