I’d like to know more about this – did they buy that plot of land? Are they willing to share the TH plans?

Nice home but not to fond of red. But a lovely way to add storage too.

They own the house that this is parked on, it is parked in the backyard. It was for rent on airbnb, a friend and I stayed there last summer and we loved it!

So with the solar panels, there is no need for electricity hookup? No other utility hook up (water?)
Do they use a composting toilet, and where would the “grey” water discharge?

Sorry for all the questions, but if I want to do the tiny house on a plot of land I have to think about all of this.

They have 2000 watts on the roof. They plugged us into shore power one night when the batteries got low. They have a 300 gallon fresh water tank in the back. Yes they have a composting toilet and I can’t remember what they did with the grey water.

I LOVE this one! But for me, I’d move the door to the side and replace the porch with a full length day bed, since I’m in my 70s and already experienced an unintended launch off of my grandson’s top bunk. Fortunately he said I landed in a Ninja roll–no harm done. The loft would be great for daytime use. The storage stairs get five stars!!

Next visit, your grandson should take the top bunk and give Grandma the lower one!

It is tender and graceful that alcove with sofa, like a solitary cloud crossing the sky driven by a spring breeze. Everything else is quiet.

Sooo here’s my question… My daughter has recently discovered my passion for tiny homes. She thinks I’m basically crazy and they aren’t safe, they can easily be broken into. What’s your take on that?

Did they build this themselves?, Total cost to build?, Can they just hook this up to truck and drive it down the road like any other trailer?, What is the expected lifespan for something like this?, Does it need to be registered with a license plate like an RV?
    Thanks!

Love the cabinets and the storage. Really like the peripheral storage around the bed, too. Pretty house.

Nice tiny house, except for the small sofa. I like to lounge and read on a comfy couch.😉

Love how they situated the couch.
Off grid makes it easy to locate in areas which would be accepting of small/tiny homes. No need to worry about zoning.
what is also really nice about this type of home, it can be moved and if you’re in an area prone to flooding it maybe the way to go. it can also be removed from your vacation property over the winter if you’re concerned about bears or burglars.

How wide is the little nook area in the front of this home?
