This post contains affiliate links.

This is one couple’s custom 5th wheel tiny home on wheels.

From the outside, you’ll notice both vertical and horizontal wooden siding, a shed-style roof and white french doors. When you go inside, you’ll find a bedroom over the fifth wheel, a kitchen, living area, and a bathroom. There’s even an under-the-steps dog house inside, too! Wouldn’t it be great to have done something like this early in life to save money and get a head start?

Now THIS one I REALLY like!!! The 5th wheel adds an opportunity for a good bedroom without having to deal with a cramped headroom loft. It is roomy, has all the essentials and is very nicely and simply finished. I bet it would be wonderfully comfortable to live in full time. Excellent job! I would have done a little more with the kitchen since I like to cook. The absence of a cook stove is a little worrisome. There is plenty of room for one. There is also a lot of unused vertical space where more storage could be added. Just my observation.

They have a cook stove that’s built into the countertop have it covered with wood covers that match the countertop. They also have a nice bathroom with a washer dryer combo in it

I LOVE this, although I’d like to have seen the bathroom. But the clapboard/shiplap siding on the inside is wonderful. I like the step-up bedroom – so superior to the ladder-to-the-loft thing in tiny houses. I could totally live here! I’ve got to look into who did the refurb on this. It’s exceptional.

What a beautiful home inside and out.
Have fun, safe travels and all the best to U2+pup.

Kitchen needs a working stove, or at least a cooktop/wall oven/micro. As one prrevious poster mentioned, there could have been better use of vertical space in the kitchen. The white interior looks more like an exterior treatment. As a matter of personal preference, I might have gone for an oiled wood paneling in a medium shade.

I really like this one. I could see myself here. The lack of a ladder and high loft is a plus, and a full couch is as well.

They did a great job on this and that bedroom design could easily be done in a regular THOW that is not a fifth wheel style. I have been giving some thought to that and one could have their closet under the bedroom using a design like this. You would not be able to stand up in the closet area, but you could just use a little stool on wheels to scoot back and forth for your things. The kitchen needs a stove and while they did a great job here and I like the wood counter tops — I would prefer upper cabinets to open shelves. I like the white – it is bright and airy and gives you a backdrop to do whatever you would like as regards decorating. To me it gives a clean and fresh look. I think too, that I would put a privacy wall in the bedroom area for two reasons, the first obviously for privacy should you have someone sleep over and then so that you do not step backwards when making the bed and fall off that platform — that would not be a pleasant fall, not that any fall is pleasant mind you. Anyway, I like what they did inside and out. Good use of space.

I love this one! Because I’m planning for three, I have to find a spot for our tiny girl but I think I could tuck aspace in under the queen-sized bed by making those cabinets shallow enough to accomodate a twin bed sideways under the queen. She often identifies as a wolf or some kind of cat so a little cave that she has to scramble into would suit her just fine. Especially as that pup space would accommodate her real cats as her closest neighbor. And the table that they’re showing with a laptop on, would easily accommodate some kind of folding or sliding element to allow use as a dining table. I’ve been won over by open shelving in recent years – I am an evangelical ‘everything in my home must be beautiful, something I love and pulling double-duty, so my china and other kitchen wares also double as my art. That said, it’s not the most practical for driving with but if you’re not travelling daily, then stowing your china in a tote until you get where you’re going is the easiest house-move ever! Easier even than unpacking a suitcase or backpack while travelling! Love both this mobile home and now their other more traditional one, equally.

Kids love tiny places to hide! I always wanted a bed under the stairs or something like that haha.
