I love it! I followed the link and found out the bathroom is down the corridor at the end of the kitchen. There are no photos, unfortunately. I am learning to be content in small spaces and could manage in an apartment like that, especially in a busy city with so much to see like New York. This young couple both work. The link mentions a storage facility elsewhere, which sounds useful!

Yes, the bathroom is down the corridor behind the kitchen. It is built into the space with some storage above it to the ceiling level.

The shower room has… 2 shower heads. Surprising in such a small space.

This place is so teeny but, so cute. They managed to make this condo so homey. I clicked on the Curbed link and there are more pictures. I wish they had pics of the bathroom. I also like the communal garden, very nice. I don’t know if I could live that tiny with someone else. Even if he was the man of my dreams, I still need my own space.

Love it! Now it would be nice if builders would build more of these now a days.

Alex what is the width and length of this apartment? I know it says the size is 242 sq.ft. How high is the ceiling?

This studio packs a lot in its tiny space. They have everything they need and it is not only functional, but very warm and inviting. Great design and use of space. I would like to see more designs like these. Excellent job.

I just love their place!! They have a place for everything. It’s very functional. Every nook and cranny is used wisely. Love their kitchen cabinets and actually I love their whole place it’s fixed adorable! I wouldn’t mind having a place like that to go home too. Enjoy your home!

Where do people find these places? I want to move to NYC and I have not been able to find a “tiny space” anywhere. Is there a site dedicated to these places? Word of mouth? Know the mayor? Just how? Real estate places practically laugh at the request. I see so many places above businesses, restaurants, delis, etc. that I know can be converted.

Great question, Beverly, unfortunately I’m not sure because I’m not very familiar with NYC but if you live there or are planning to live there I highly encourage you to continue contacting asking people (real estate agents, checking Craigslist, etc. on a continual basis) until you land something. It takes patience but if you keep at it I’m sure you will find what you’re looking for. Wishing you the best… -Alex

Why do you want to move to NYC? You must have a desire to die.

Whoa! I love this! It flows flawlessly from one area to the other, is beautifully decorated, and wondrously organized. This is a really pretty house!

They are smiling but they probably have to work live slaves at two jobs each to afford something like this in NYC. BUT, they ARE living in NYC!!!
Too funny. WHY would anyone want to live in NYC, the Cesspool of the East coast?
