Couple Living Tiny in an Austin, TX RV Park

This post contains affiliate links.

Right now I’m introducing you to Eddie and Lacey who are a couple living tiny in an Austin, Texas RV Park.

Back in 2010, they attended a Tumbleweed tiny house workshop. Later on, they bought their Tumbleweed trailer, the DVD, and the Cypress tiny house plans.

Now, a few years later, they’re almost done with their DIY Tumbleweed Cypress 18 Tiny House on Wheels. And they’re already living tiny while getting some finishing touches done on their tiny home.

Hi Stacie, I don’t know what your situation is, but I am selling my Tumbleweed Tiny House (Lusby), built in 2007. You can see pics on my website. I have a new Tumbleweed – I want to sleep downstairs! Best of luck to you!

Suggest you take a look at website above. River Bend very may be the place to sell (without realtor). Check free classifieds http://www.w3oc.com. Also make note storage lot available, kill two birds one stone … a place to park (inexpensive) and throw up a for sale sign.

How much does it cost to live in an RV Park? The one near Seattle I looked at only had weekly rates and was expensive.
    Thanks!

Around this area (Penrose, Canon City) RV park space is around $300/mo.

    • March 7, 2015, 10:59 pm

Some parks will not give reduced rates for long-term renting, but many do. You need to ask what their long-term rates are. The rates may change with the season as well – especially in high demand areas. I live in WA, Puget Sound area and I’ve found that the rates are pretty high in many places ($400-$700/month). Keep looking.
