Couple Build $420 Tiny House in 3 Months!

This is the story of a couple who built their own 67 sq. ft. tiny house in 3 months for only $420 using mostly recycled materials!

The teeny little house has a small living area downstairs and above it a loft with a double bed. As they’re living in community Liam and Rachel didn’t need to include a kitchen and bathroom, as they have shared facilities and a communal living space nearby.1

looks like it should of been maybe a three weekend job. Not three months.

If they had all the materials they needed from the start, sure but they went the recycled/reclaimed materials route to get it to this low price and one of the hidden costs of doing it that way, besides sweat equity, is the time it takes… Some people have even take years to do it this way…

The overhangs are so clever. It blocks the summer sun when it is high in the sky, and helps keep the rain out of open windows so you can still have your breezes. Comfortable looking house.
