Colorful Tiny House Community

I wish there were such thing as a tiny house community.

This picture was taken by Alan Lemire.

I love these bright tiny cottages.

It’s great to see a few of them lined up as a community.

I hope that we can see our first small community of tiny houses built on trailers soon.

Perhaps in place of an RV park?

Why on trailers? As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, Rural lifestyle has much going for it. Just necessary regs about septic systems, not everyone wants to cope with composting toilets. There a lot of people out my way who are living in and doing business out of skid mounted portable buildings of various sizes. In and out of town.

Just a guesstion–are these old travelers' cabins from pre-interstate days? There's one on display at the Henry Ford Museum, in Dearborn, Michigan that's about that size. The materials, lay-out, setting etc. look like they're from that era and purpose too.

I love the idea of finding such and giving them new life as 'Tiny Houses'–and the idea of a community of such, even more so.

Aren't they cool? I'm not sure where they came from unfortunately. I found the picture a long time ago and paid a small fee to post it on here but it did not come with very much info 🙁

This is a picture from North Dakota. As soon as I saw that picture I knew I had seen them before. That is to cool.

I love the idea, wish I could sell my wife on the idea
I would have like to but a 10 acre septic un perkable wood lot within 1/2 hr to a larger city in middle Vermont.
I was thinking a property by a river would support a Hydro mill to produce elec.
Could have 4 family,s with parents picked with
cumunity suporting skills a mechanic,a teacher for home schooling ,solar teck./electriction ,master gardener ,arborist, carpender ,esc.
Wish Vermont was less strict on there zoning and septic laws.sorry if I rambled on jason
