We are getting further and further away from the tiny house concept..!

This house is listed in the “Small” category in the “Houses” menu.

Despite this site’s name, not everything here is, or needs to be, a “Tiny” house.

Yes, thank U, Kevin. I agree that the house is “small” but surely there is no harm in blending “on the small side” and “true tiny” houses in this site — a site that I enjoy very much especially during this Virus Outbreak (March 2020) and time for social distancing when I am trapped in my small apartment. As they say “one man’s meat is another man’s poison.” Is it not so? These comments respectfully submitted.

I like seeing the smalls as well as the tinies. I’m thinking I need a little more space than 8′ wide.

Thank U, Zachary. U have a major point: easier transportability. Your point is well taken. But I have a horror of mobile homes and tiny houses on wheels, etc. Why? The concept and implementation can be beautiful and practical and happy. But I live in tornado country — buildings that are not firmly planted in/attached to Mother Earth often get picked up, tossed in the air, and smashed into pieces. One should NOT live in fear, but ….. Oh my, yes! Perfect and stunning A-frame home. I would love to live there. I appreciate the bedroom on the main floor as I have a hard time with stairs and am crazy about the stove and fridge in the kitchen. I also love the fireplace and the mountain feel. We live in the mountains, so this small home would fit perfectly in our environment. Thanks for showing this, Natalie.

Nice plan. Love the A-frame. Regarding comments about mobile and tiny homes on wheel vs tornadoes; I lived in a mobile home once and my trailer park was between a neighborhood of brick homes and a concrete and steel shopping center. A tornado came through the area and destroyed all. Brick, mobile, concrete, all gone. The path through the mobile home park was 300 ft wide where absolutely nothing bigger than a toothpick remained. 10 ft outside the zone of destruction clothes were still hanging on a clothes line. The tornado sucked up 6 new Cadillacs from a dealership and piled them in a mall shopping center on the second floor. Wheels are not the problem. Tying down might not help. Folks who have never been around tornadoes don’t really get it.
