Very nice. I would like to have seen the bedroom, bathroom, as well as kitchen. They weren’t shown on their web site, either. : (

Normally I am not a fan of wooden interiors because they are dark but this one has nice finishes and is really nice. There is enough contrasting color to break up the solid wood look. Great little home.

I agree Gale, I normally like white interiors, that said, this one is beautiful with different shades of wood. It gives it a cozy, homey feel to it. Very impressed with the quality workmanship.

Ditto – lots of nice detail shots, no sense of the overall plan and how the space feels.

    Looks good so far, though.

Brenda I hope you come back and read comments as I do not use Facebook. Just what town and county in Tn did you purchase lot? I live in Tn. And have done much research on the tiny life living. In fact I live in a 24 ft travel trailer in practice of tiny house living two yrs now. I have found out unless lots are grandfathered in with mobile homes in most counties is when its legal. Your only other option is parking it in a campground. The one in which we live is lovely in coffee county. Whispering oaks. With more than reasonable rent. Utilities included under 400 mnth. I have tried to contact Tn tiny homes as that builder was one of the first on the tiny house scene. I figured he would know best as to where zoning was tiny accepted. Still await answers. But since he is relocating to Colorado I am assuming the permanent site issues on private land in Tn is minimal. You can look up Tn tiny homes and further inquire maybe you would have better luck. But I wish you well on the legal issue with realtor\seller as I agree they deceived you on info. ALWAYS check with city zoning wherever you land as I have read and heard this issue on where its legal under 900 sqare ft. Is minimal at best. If your tiny house is delivered maybe we will be neighbors in the whispering oaks. We are still planning our build here in Tn come this fall. Take care and safe journies

I have gone to a Lawyer and turned it over to him. I am just to tired to do it on my own. I bought an unrestricted lot in a small E. TN City, East of Knoxville. Both Realtors lied about the lot and so did the sellers and Title Company. It is in writing that the lot is unrestricted and I can put a mobile cabin on the lot. I don’t want to live in a trailer park. I want a private lot.

I liked all the wood treatments; they added so much to the house. Very nice.

The picture with the child in it was taken at the Fourth of July parade in Barnardsville. I have seen this TH. It is ‘state of the art’.

As soon as I saw the first pic this grabbed my attention, the proportions were good and not too big for the trailer. I thought it would be nice inside and was not disappointed. 🙂 Great build

    Brenda,
Check with the zoning and planning commission. Who is the realtor/company? If they’re legit or misrepresented themselves as such and further, deceived you to make this sale they are liable for all of your damages and whatever contract you made with them null and void. Whether they willfully deceived you or simply didn’t bother to research the ordinances and refuse to fully rectify the situation I’d shoot off a complaint to your state Attorney General AG and Real Estate Licensing Board, just for starters. The AG can shut them down and the latter can suspend or revoke their license and that of their principle broker.
That said you have a beautiful, well designed home and I really hope you get this issue resolved and go on to fully enjoy it.

It is a Parade!!! Enlarge the photo and you can see it is a parade. Children and Adults ride on parade floats all the time. There is nothing wrong with riding on a parade float.

We bought the lot in February then I started looking for a tiny home. We went to the “il Lodges factory in Bear Creek AL in April and was very impressed with how these tiny homes were manufactured. We placed our order approximately 4 days after going to the factory. It is a very cute little house. We would not of ordered the house when we did if we had not secured an unrestricted lot before we ordered. Our “tiny house now sits in a storage lot East of Knoxville TN.

Brenda I hope you include storage costs and current rent for accommodation when you look for damages redress. You are out of pocket on a large scale for that reason. Clearly not your fault since you asked questions at the outset. Glad you got everything in writing. Hope you get to move into your lovely new home soon.

They sell stacking mugs, both solid colored and with patterns, at World Market. Yes, they are pretty cool… and space efficient!
