    That’s not a cabin, that’s a Lodge. It’s huge.

As for the ‘off-grid’ part – I wonder how many Air B&B types have actually ever used a wood stove to cook with before? I should think (given what I THINK is a point-of-use tankless water heater over the shower area) that there must be some sort of on site gas storage. Also, that is the strangest composting tiles I’ve ever seen.

It certainly has its share of visual appeal – the furnishings are all very nice, if a bit eclectic. The design is interesting enough, and there are lots of windows to really brighten the place up. And the setting is spectacular.

That should be ‘composting TOILET’. I truly, deeply, passionately LOATHE autocorrect.

There is obviously gas there. Not only is there a woodstove/oven, there is right next to it a gas one too. As one can see in picture number 3

That shower stall could be real cold in winter. This is a unique home. I am glad they left the wood natural. Beautiful surroundings.

This is not a lodge, this looks like a double-deck yurt.
Yet it looks great from the inside. The fact that it’s off the grid, which I like, especially the woodstove to cook on makes it very outdoorsy.
Good job, on the bathroom, I like your shower too.
Makes me wish I was living in it!

cooking on a wood stove is no big deal. the biggest deal might be starting a fire, but once that is accomplished cooking on wood stove is not really that different than cooking on any other stove.

The house is great. Interesting décor and fixtures.
