    A 35 minute video. Did not watch it all to get to the “drilling” section.

    But…. from the image, it looks like he is using a hand drill. I would say, that is not ideal.

    What is a far, far better tool is a drill press. For one thing, drill presses have a slower RPM which allows them to drill through steel more effectively. And a drill press will give a nice straight, clean hole. And you can simply rent a drill press if you can not afford a cheap one.
