Arthur Dyson is an architect who is committing to making an eco village happen for the homeless in Fresno, California.

On May 20th, 2010 Preston over at Jetson Green wrote a great article on this project.

If you haven’t checked it out there are more pictures provided there.

Listen to Art talk about the Eco-Village, how the idea kicked off for him, what his mission is, why, and much more. He also makes some great points about society in this audio.

He’s helping to make sure this entire project benefits education, society, and the homeless. If successful this project can be a model for future communities.

This community is set to be off the grid, green with solar power, smart green design, the community would grow their own food, a building dedicated to economics within the community so that they can do business with and help each other. This center would provide a positive environment to help these people learn and educate themselves so that they can get out of poverty.

Arthur is excited at the opportunity to bring a positive and uplifting environment to the homeless. How can we support his cause?
