They’re located in Lower Saxony, Germany at a place called Resort Baumgeflüster which translates to rustling trees.

The owners of the property decided they would turn their farm into a tourist resort to enjoy staying in these beautiful treehouses designed by baumraum architects while enjoying the amazing scenery on the property. I think that was a good idea, right? Please enjoy and re-share below. Thanks!

    Magnificent!!! Wunderbar!!!
    Every little and big kids dream!!! Germans are masters at maximizing space and design in a highly functional and practical way!!
    My favorite…. Lol…. the toilet!!!! Wish they would be more promoted in US for residential dwellings (available through internet) =
    Spacesaver…. Hygenic (much easier to clean on outside!!) …
    Dankeschön for sharing this amazing design and wonderful idea of Baum-geflüster!!! Happy (luxury) dreaming in mother nature!!

    I don’t quite understand why they’re called tree houses. They’re not built in trees. They’re on stilts with trees around them, and one tree coming up through the deck. I would worry about stability and would prefer the same idea built on a foundation. Maybe being elevated is for the views? Interesting idea.

    I don’t feel the structures honor the lovely site at all; their placement looks unfinished and sterile. The long stairs would get very old after about five trips, not to mention totally eliminating visitors with bad knees. To me, its needs better integration among the trees and landscape, like the old mountain lake vacation homes in North Carolina. My first impression was “singlewide on concrete blocks,” like the redneck post cards. I’m sorry, but this would have to offer spectacular vistas and wildlife watching to offset the stairs.

    @Sally
    X2. But there are some great makeover ideas for a “single wide on concrete blocks.”

    Nice use of 420 sq ft, LOVE the large windows and interior layout and light colored wood! So many times tiny/small houses seem to have tiny windows. Dislike the stilts

      The poles make the dwellings look like luxury deer stands used for stalking/hunting deer.

    This style is my favorite, modern and functional. Would be interesting to learn about cost.

    Treehouse? That is a real stretch! But very nice. If you look at the photos with a very creative mind, you can get ideas of what could be done to rehab an older mobile home into a tiny home. There are so many ways for people to make the tiny house dream a reality!

    I don’t see a kitchen. So – Tiny Hotel Suite, not Tiny House.

    There is a sink and possibly a ceramic hob on the units behind the table. Also a coffee maker. Maybe one of the cupboards houses a fridge? The website talks about Miele appliances and crockery and cutlery. There is space to add further kitchen items.

    Love these. The look outside is cool. Deck is inviting. Inside is very pretty and clean. I don’t like clutter is why a tiny home intrigues me. I like a spotless but warm homey place. Have family in Germany. Never been there.

    When you can grasp this dream…., forget all the time lost in nothingness…..(you believe).

    Like the style, but don’t care for the stairs. This would not be for anyone with mobility issues. I’m all for smaller spaces/efficiency.
