A very thoughtful layout in a modest post-war cabin. It’s often the older homes that have sweet little details which set them apart from builder basic homes of today. Like the way the stairs turn toward the spacious hallway, a great under-stair storage area, with the upper few steps creating a cozy nook below. (Many modern builders would have just made a straight run of stairs creating a sterile space.)
The only two changes I would make would be: to increase the kitchen storage by bringing the cabinets to the ceiling and wrapping the cabinets around right to the top of the fridge; and to soften the white paint in the kitchen and entrance area – white is just too stark against all that wood. Thanks for sharing this Alex.

The outside is nice, very quaint. Inside, less charming, the layout is off, just not working. The bedroom is awful.

My thoughts too… inside, to me, is megafugly. Outside, well I thought we’d be in for a real treat inside. Classic case of sheep in wolfs clothing, or is that the other way around? Whatever.

Stunning cabin! 👍🏼 Clean, clean, clean is what I like! And plenty of room for company, nice.
