Rip out all that fakey 70’s paneling and the dated furniture and you have a great cabin!

Remeber–NH has NO sales tax but higher RE taxes than some other places. Also no requirement for auto insurance BUT if you get hit by some one without it–you are SOL. No helmet law for bikers.

But the WINTERS. Oh those winters! And you almost have to have a job you can do from home or you might find that only retail and hospitality are hiring.

All the truth, Comet 🙂 New Hampshire is beautiful, though, so if you have a job it’d be great!

It’s a cute little house with a lot of potential! And the idea of all of that acreage and pond sounds great. I’m not sure how the states lack of sales tax and real estate tax structure fits into whether or not it’s a good buy for someone. Michigan has a state sales tax and a state income tax and still has one of the highest real estate tax rates in the nation! It’s more about is it a good buy for that market and the needs and finances of the buyer.

Yes you definitely have to look at all the taxes, for sure, but the East Coast is expensive so I’m going to say this is a pretty great deal!

Nice size, good price, plenty of land, and the POND!
    Love this.

Nice! But where I come from, 50 degree weather is “cold”.

Haha New Hampshire might be a bit too chilly then!

Love the house love the spacious kitchen love the land and pond!!! Not fond of furniture or placement of tv-would probably put it over fireplace and face a comfy couch facing it. The bedroom is adorable. And the tchotchkes would be toned down. However, different strokes for different folks-a sturdy foundation for a house and everyone will make it their unique home

Very true, Marcia! It’s amazing how personality can change a house 🙂
