I guess this one would be good for a cottage but I think the kitchen was sacrificed to keep the living area whereas I would have reduced the living area and kept the lovely cooking area of the Solo 1 but then I can’t stand to be cramped on space when I am cooking.

Ho ho. Different strokes, as they say. I’ve lived with a microwave and toaster oven for almost ten years, and spend about ten minutes in my kitchen a day. I don’t like to cook, so I was thrilled to see a lay-out with more living space than a kitchen. I think a rolling island would help, and could serve many purposes for all.

I agree with Nancy. For me, I would like a bit more kitchen space and a window while doing dishes is a must. I don’t like facing a wall when I am performing any task.
With this simple design, I am sure it would be simple enough to modify.

While this kitchen wouldn’t work for our Cahow, it would do quite well for the non-chefs who spend more time in a living space than in the kitchen. A great deal of floor space is sacrificed to kitchens in most tiny homes, and this is a good alternative for those who use it as a space to walk through without lingering. Weather permitting, I would cook outside anyway.
I also love the private bedroom area, versus a loft or pull-out couch.

I like this design, and the previous one as well. Modern is clean & uncluttered, to my eye. I’d put a deck/porch around the front, and make it a real outside-space oriented place. Maybe even put a deck on the roof. This would be great at a small beach location. Would love to know the pricing for these. Thanks!
