The more I see houses around 400 sq. ft., the more I know that is my size of small. The fridge is in an odd place, but sometimes we need to put things where we can, and I don’t live where you could do laundry outside (it freezes here), but this is a lovely place with a nice outdoor space.

Really? You think a shower curtain will stop moisture getting to the machine and rusting it?? I. Don’t. Think. So.!!!!

Yeah. It looks like it’s under a covered area pretty well as best as I can tell from the picture. Then the curtain to keep more moisture off of it and then the fact that it’s enameled like most appliances and I do think it’ll do fine. Washers are pretty tough beasts!

Is this for sale or rent and the rates?

Did you even read the copy? It tells you that it is an airbnb unit.

Another sweet little house that I would be happy to call mine.
I’m not much into traveling and I can do lofts right now but don’t expect that to last too much longer so I love the main floor bedroom.
I agree with Marcy in that the more I see of these tiny houses around 400 sq ft, the more I want one for me. I can see me getting someone to put up the basic shell then finishing it on the inside the way I want.
I’m sure glad that my Dad insisted that all of us girls learned how to use building tools.
I do still wish we had even a hand drawn picture of the floor plan or some pictures from different angles as I couldn’t quite figure it out.
Thanks for sharing that little gem.

I never cease to be amazed at what can be packed into a small
space! How nice is this?? I agree the fridge isn’t where I would
like it and if possible, I might separate the dining room furniture
with a divider……either way — this is neat and stylish!

Looking at the other small dwellings in at least one photo, I wonder if this could be an old motor court from days gone by.
Many towns have older motels that were of this design, whether this was or not. Someone who wanted to make a small neighborhood should look into such an option for conversion to a Tiny Home community.

Machines outside…. Insane. Other than that , nice.
    Price in California? $300,000 maybe?

Kitchen wall cabinets should be moved all the way to the right and ditch the left one. Apartment sized frig to left of stove, and please get one with the hinges on the left. Back wall of house where table is could have a shallow floor to ceiling built-in for pantry storage, etc in a combination of open shelves, sliding doors. The place is cute as can be, no need to not fix that someone forgot about the frig when doing the layout!
