This is Ewa’s 269 sq. ft. Kings Cross flat in London.
25 square meter (or 269 square feet) isn’t a lot (especially as it also occasionally is my workspace), so I had to be inventive with the space: The kitchen unit got taken out of the living-room, all the bathroom interiors were replaced by a small IKEA kitchen and separated by a wall of Slovakian glass blocks from a new shower unit and then the storage room/cupboard where the previous owner stored their washing-machine etc etc, got turned into a lavatory, something it had been originally in Edwardian days when 2 flats shared the toilet. That was a year ago. Since then I have had one gas stove change into a cupboard (the need for space being pressing!) and the other stove has become a wood burning stove instead. It cost a small fortune, being based in Central London, but it is something the Swede in me have always longed for (it is a lot more interesting to look at the a TV set:))..

OMG what I wouldn’t give to live in London. What a challenge to try to have a live/work space in 269 sq feet.
With your wonderful location and street views let alone enviable working wood stove in that old place, it’s worth editing.
Nice job on the kitchen/bath reclaim of space.

Hah… and here was me looking at the pictures and thinking OMG what a depressing, dirty, ugly city London is. Perception I suppose… but although I’ve never been there I know a few who have and they all to a T said the same thing. Much of London is grotty, grimy, old (as in decrepit) and Horrendously E.XP.E.N.S.I.V.E.

I believe that there is a TV program out there about how people moved into non-house spaces and transformed them into homes–and the CLOCK TOWER in the pic is featured on it! Sure you can seek it out—I think–and I am sure some one will correct me if I am wrong!!!! –hat this is St. Pancras Station.
St. Pancras Station it is:) Try HGTV for a story they did on a the man who was able to buy the clock tower and turn it into a home, fantastic:) could be, “You Live in What?” Something like that:)
You can’t possibly understand the wonder of London if you’ve never been there…Although this is very tiny …I would love to stay there a summer so I could enjoy London…what an amazing city….but I couldn’t live in it full time I don’t think…too small…
