Rural and Elegant Tiny Cottage on a Dairy Farm

This post contains affiliate links.

This tiny cabin is on the Pt. Reyes peninsula along the Northern California coast.

It’s a 260-square-foot building designed to support a large group of children for a yearly family summer camp.

The cottage is on a dairy farm and has a fun and yet traditional vibe that expresses the rural setting of the land.

Most of the materials used are non-corrosive and resistant to wear like the galvanized sheet metal on the roof, the batt siding and painted plywood.

I love the front porch because it makes for such a nice place to enjoy the outdoors with a cup of fresh coffee

The bedroom has vaulted ceilings, windows, a bench, a full closet, and more…

The kitchen is really simple because this was really just designed as a bathhouse, as you can now tell, right? Lol!

Here’s the front porch where you can catch a glimpse of the other structure on the property/farm

Is there a way to turn off the pop ups? I open and read every TH newsletter that shows up – and I want to continue to enjoy the newsletter – and the popups are really, really annoying. Where is the off sw?

    Thanks
    Neil

Agreed, especially the intrusive signup box that appears immediately after clicking on the article links in our e-mail. For the reason that we already get the messages, we’re already subscribed. Save the popup box only for those new to the site.

I like the white too. A nice change from wood tones that are a bit rustic for my taste.

Oh my… This is one of the most adorable tiny houses I have ever seen. LOVE the white. The front porch is very inviting. The location of being on a dairy farm in Pt. Reyes is what I consider a perfect piece of real estate. This home has to be one of my all time favorites. I would prefer this home to a Tumbleweed ANY day. Great job.

I could ask for more…..more pics and a floorplan….it does indeed look very nice…..but without more pics we are left to guess.

I do like the front porch a lot….reminds me of the old Bartles and Jaymes commercials…..:-))

I have to agree that the more photos, the better. Also, I always look for a floor plan, but I understand these aren’t always available.

A sweet place to call home. I like the way the little house fits right into its farm location. A few more pictures of the interior would be welcome. Their website shows that this architectural firm has designed some beautiful, quality homes.

Light, bright, and cheerful! Curious about the bathrooms and how that’s configured. Otherwise, it makes you happy to see it!
