I know some people are fine with it but I would hate to try to watch that TV from the couch–it would make my neck hurt.

I see that a lot with RVs, too. I get that the aesthetic is to have the couch face into the main area, but that’s a tradeoff I wouldn’t make–personally I’d rather have the couch on a side wall, opposite the TV, instead of the back one.

Not a issue with a swivel arm mount… When not in use it sits against the wall and out of the way but when in use it pulls off the wall and swivels to face the couch or kitchen…

Though, this was a budget/basic build… They tend to have more compromises to keep the costs lower…

A higher end build could have options like ceiling mount that lowers the TV for use but stores it away when not, but also has the option to rotate to face the loft with that arrangement.

While a lower cost solution alternative would be a projector with a screen you can put almost anywhere when you needed to watch something…

“Not a issue with a swivel arm mount”

Sure, that’s true, if you have one. I couldn’t tell from the pictures if that was the case or not. I don’t usually watch the videos.

I’d prefer the TV to be a foot or so lower anyway, although that would conflict with the heater.

Instant first thought was raise the chair/couch. Tradeoffs, there’s always tradeoffs.

Very very nice. TV not an issue for me as I don’t watch it. I like the drop down table but a better picture of the kitchen area would be great, can you cook without being forced to use a microwave. Great to see stairs as well instead of the ubiquitous ladder. Pity they aren’t available in Ireland.
