Love this one! Everything on one floor and just right too. I am going to look for a spot to put something like this on too. Great job!

Looks nice except, is there a ladder to get to the microwave?

This Tiny House is so well put together. Please show a picture of the bathroom and would like an entry closet to put coats and shoes. Need a w/d hook up for stackable ..what about storage options and price tag?

While it is for sale, it is discounted as has been a show home and tried for a couple of trips to iron out bugs/quirks etc. Sale price is $68,899.00 complete as you see it. I would suspect a new build of this would be in the $80,000 zone.

I’m glad to see the idea of tipouts/slideouts coming into its own. Two things I’d like to see, though are: (1) pics of each of the slideouts (we see the seating and eating areas, but there’s not a good pic of the slideout in the bedroom), and (2) pics of the interior of the house when prepped for a move; I’d like to see how it works when the slideouts have been slid *in*.

    Kudos to Tiny Idahomes!

Methinks one would need to be almost the rubber man to squeeze around while the slideouts are in. They would ONLY be in for travelling purposes.

I love the concept of this tiny home. The kitchen cabinets are just beautiful, along with the counters and backsplash!! Like Rita, I too would like to see some options for storage, along with a coat closet. Along with views of the bathroom. But on the whole this house was nicely done. Thanks for sharing!! Carol???

Although it’s not a new idea as the 1st example that I have seen is the 1915 Telescope Apartment, it was wonderful to see slideouts on a “Tiny house” from this group. The interior looks beautiful and I know that when the walls are pushed out it has a “HUGE” affect on the perception of how big the interior can appear. Great to see the slideouts on both sides of the home. I love seeing innovative designs like the one where the bed slides under the floor of a raised kitchen and when put away foot of the bed hangs out just enough to be used as a couch. Hats off to the builders and designers of these Tiny Homes. Keep up the good work! -Rando

Now that makes sense–the slideouts to provide more room. An older person could live in that one without having to climb to a loft to go to bed. The microwave is too high for shorties, but if your knees work, you could use a little safety stool to reach it, I suppose. I’d love to have a community of tiny houses on my property, but I am convinced the city wouldn’t permit it where I live, even if they were completely off the grid! But, boy, do I have a couple of beautiful waterfront spots where several could sit.

This is a beautiful tiny home. My only question is about how the slide-outs are sealed to keep out weather and critters. How strong are those seals and how vulnerable are they?

I like the idea of the bump outs…! It’s one way of increasing the square footage in a tiny house….

Outstanding tiny home. Slideouts are an excellent way to expand your living space and make your home more user friendly for seniors who like this type of housing. I am curious about clothing storage but overall a beautiful home.

Oh jeez, only $276 per square foot. That is a LOT of money to “downsize”. In Michigan I paid $86 per square foot for traditional housing and I have a basement and garage in a great neighborhood on a small lot. The Tiny House craze has no proven track record and I bet they take a LOT of time to sell. I would think long and hard before putting my monet into one!

Your Monet, eh? If you had a Monet you’d be sitting on a small fortune… oh, did you mean money? Silly me… but, Tiny Houses are not a fad anymore. Fads come and go very quickly. These have been around for quite a few years now. But it is only in the last 5 years or so that they have come to the attention of people in the States, and around the world. Now the secret is out.

For the record, some tiny houses take a long time to sell. Some sell very quickly. Guess what? That mirrors the conventional real estate market too.

I’m with you on that one Julie…! And that goes to what I’ve been saying all along about the tiny house movement builders.. Not all but there are a few who figure it’s time to cash in on this market, and buy adding a few quality appliances and some creative styling they mark up these houses with these astronomical price lists, screaming that they should get paid for their labors, when they are called on it…! I’m not against anyone making a living, but making a living off those who are just trying to down size, start off in life without large debts, or that aging couple trying to get out from under a mortgage and enjoy their golden years, is just wrong… Why don’t those sharp pencils go to work for the rich where their pricing wouldn’t be so much a bother…? They claim to have all the talents to build luxury houses, so why not build for the rich and famous and not squeeze the common good folks just trying to survive today’s economy and still have a little comfort … Now watch the silly bashers come after me now looking to silence me…! LoL…!

I just left this post: tinyhousetalk.com/aurora-tiny-house-zero-squared-bump-outs/
and now see this one here with slideouts too. Anyone who had the same sequence instantly realizes the many alternatives of slideout designs – and in my opinion this one here is so much better. A yet unique design. Lending the typical THOWs a so much better layout of the living space!

Seeing those same, long, narrow, THOWs got boring, lol. Finally a REAL HOUSE floor plan, yeah!

Now, may I say? Looking at the seams of the slideouts though, from my experience I must say this house is going to leak in the first winter (unless the builder knows some not-from-this-planet secret?).

I have not come across a single THOW with slideouts that gives me confidence there. While, making an extendable ROOF water and wind proof is so easy and yet no builder sells those. SURPRISED (disappointed).

Anyway, this layout is awesome, for me!
