The SimBLISSity 2 Freedom 24′ departed Bliss Canyon yesterday. Chase and Amy will finish building the interior themselves.
The SimBLISSity Freedom was towed by Tiny Totters to its new home near Garden of the Gods by Colorado Springs.
There is always a Tiny tear in by eye when one of our Tinys leaves.

There are no inside pictures, it is only a shell for the owners to complete the inside themselves. They are just showing you the outside.

Just wondering, what kind of truck is that, that is delivering the THOW, and what year is it?

Looks like a former Fire Engine that has been converted for towing to me.

It is a Freightliner COE (cab over) heavy duty road tractor. Looks to me to be a manufactured home toter truck. It is probably capable of pulling an 16’x90′ single section manufactured home.

These are the truck part of semis that usually have the frame shortened, one axle removed, and a custom work bed installed. Some have fancy hydraulic hitches that raise lower and swing to assist in positioning the house.

That “truck” is a specialty item made specifically for towing mobile homes. It is not a fire truck conversion. Several photos of such trucks are on this web site: http://www.btt-transport.com/manufactured-housing.php

The best way to build a tiny is to hire a local licensed builder and get 3 estimates, then you do the cosmetics stuff like painting, and whatever else you can do by yourself. Never pay upfront, pay in phases after the builder has met the steps in phase one pay him. If they ask for more in between, say no politely, and let it be a red flag. By local builder, I mean: a licensed carpenter, plumber, electrician, and roofer. You can do this and easily save 15 percent.
