Occupying the form of a 1990 Chevrolet-Thomas school bus, this uncommon home offers an opportunity for simple, cozy living wherever one is needed. Originally under the service of the state of NC, the bus was decommissioned in 2013 with 181k original miles and in good operating condition. Renovation followed.

The roof is raised from original height, giving eight feet of ceiling space. A full-featured kitchen includes a compact Blomberg refrigerator/freezer, vintage MagicChef LP 4-burner range/oven salvaged from an Airstream, double-basin cast iron sink and custom cherry cabinetry with concrete counter top. A high-efficiency Englander wood-burning stove, made in Virginia and mobile-home approved is set on a concrete hearth and provides ample warmth during the winter. Oak floors salvaged from a furniture factory in Thomasville, NC are underfoot. Screen inserts in windows allow for summer breezes to pass through or a window can be removed to seasonally install the included window-mount AC unit. The home is wired for 120v power with power service inlet, sub-panel, and 8 receptacles. Includes antique oak hoosier and made-in-NC blue settee. Vehicle is driveable with no known mechanical issues and good tires.

An ideal home for occasional or full-time living in farm, forest, or backyard settings.

Local delivery available. Call or write to inquire and schedule a visit.

It looks very nice inside, but more pics would be helpful. Where is the sleeping area, a bathroom, relaxing area/couch etc. More pics are needed to form an educated opinion.

I still think this one to be about $10,000.00 over priced as I just said on tiny house listings… It’s a great starting point to a great motor home that will take you almost any where, but not at the price their asking… Or at least not in my opinion…!

I think anything called a ‘tiny home’ should include a bathroom and sleeping on something besides a couch.

Other than that the work looks good, must have been built by a cook.
