Beautiful, but I didn’t see how to access the loft?
I saw the one photo with what appears to be someone climbing onto the roof. And I thought ladders were awkward.. 😉

A plastic extractor fan less than a foot above a gas hob. Seriously?

Does the closet door double as a bathroom door by opening it? It looks like it. Cool. Nice little place I’ld buy it if I had it right now. 🙂 God bless you and happy trails!

Per the website, the bathroom door is a pocket door, that’s why you can’t see it =)

Someone asked where the home was located, I answered. Understand?

I am going to guess you responded to the wrong post, I told the person above about the bathroom door. You could stand to lose the attitude too ! =)

Sondra – I apologize if you think I have an attitude. I’m simply answering in short statements. I get over 200 emails a day and have to answer each one. Wasn’t intentional.

I love everything except that fan smack in the middle of the kitchen back splash. Heat + plastic? That is a dangerous mess just waiting to happen. This is a perfect example of what NOT to do.
Otherwise, the TH is great and I would totally live there.

I love these comments. 1st off this isn’t my home, but just from simple observations: The vent behind the stove is metal, I have one. There isn’t any plugs in the shower. No one is climbing on the roof, that is the exhaust for the bathroom fan. The bar on the ledge just below the loft is where you hang a ladder to climb up. The closet door doesn’t double as a bathroom door, probably a pocket door accomplishes that. Finally if you look at the license plate on the back of the house it says FLORIDA.

Bill I live in Florida and what does that have to do with anything?

Someone on Facebook asked where the house was located and he answered.

Well there needs to be some changes. First a hood over stove. Next the fan in the shower is dangerous. The fan should be on wall or ceiling outside of shower.

Oh! I forgot to ask who is the builder of this tiny house?

I just finished reading the builder’s whole series of blog posts about the building of this l’il cutie. It was very informative and interesting. Considering he put in about 15 months plus building supplies, and this house is well built and CHARMING, I am thinking $55k is a bargain. I love how this floor plan flows….plenty of room given to every part of the spaces you need to really LIVE in any home. The closet is quite generous, but I would be willing to bet that some additional storage for folding clothes could be retrofitted in the loft. Personally, I would put in storage tonsu steps and not have to climb a ladder. Bad balance and undependable knees! I would be giving up some space in the living area, but with a little planning, it could be minimized. Love love love this tiny house!!
