This is a 120 sq. ft. tiny cabin and I think you might be surprised as to how many people it can comfortably sleep.

With space saving fold-down bunkbeds and a sleeping loft, four people can easily stay in this tiny house.

Built by Tinywood Homes, this tiny home also features a creative staircase to access the sleeping loft which is always better than a ladder, isn’t it?

The kitchenette has a wooden table that seats four and the built-in seats double as steps to get up to the sleeping loft! Please enjoy the tour and re-share below. Thank you!

Cute as a bug. An OCD Mom would have a nervous breakdown keeping the steps and table clean. Still, lots of space in here for sleeping, especially in bear country where tents just aren’t enough. Cooking and eating outside would work well. Lovely fence. See, Doris, I can be brief if I want to.

I’ll chime in on the stairs, too. One of my pet peeves in ALL of the THs where the steps or ladder hang over the kitchen. Nasty to have foot garbage dropping down on the counter. Just because you can’t see bacteria doesn’t mean it isn’t there. I agree, food prep and eating should be done outside.

Yeah Doris, but there is bacteria everywhere… even in the ultimate sterile conditions… ala hospital claves etc.

No getting away from “all” bacteria. And prepping outside could be just as disgusting, or not, as on the table with the stairs above.

and the human mouth has more nasty bacteria in it than a dogs. so please; OH PLEASE; keep that food away from your mouth!

Not only is it a dirty, nasty thing to walk all over the table you’ll be eating off of, but how on earth do you even get to the stairs since they are backwards!

Double duty space savers are great – but not table / stair combos where kids are in the mix – their immune systems are not as fully developed as those of adults – E-coli is a killer and easily transported!!! It only takes once – just as it only takes one part of contaminated undercooked hamburger – kids HAVE died from that. You don’t recover from that kind of heartbreak. Even the most vigilant of housecleaners can’t have eyes on all the time – No thank you.

??? are you implying that these stairs will cause meat to be undercooked??? Now I have hear it all. Gee you must have really dirty feet. you need to stop treading on your raw meat or something?? I think if you were going to complain it should be about sand grains falling off feet or even the smell; but raw meat? thats really a strange connection to make from a set of stairs. Perhaps if they built the stairs on top of the grill and you had to turn it off before the meat was cooked so you could send you kids to bed?? hang on then you would just have a beef tartare.
sorry for the rant but I am injured and stuck in bed and your comment made me laugh so much. yes you should have clean feet before you go up the stairs. 🙂

“Just as” is what I said, if you don’t take your shoes off every time you come in the door, (and kids don’t) then it’s very easy to walk something in on the bottom of your shoes, especially if you’ve been among animals.. for a food prep area, that would be as dangerous as undercooked meat… not the same, but as dangerous for under developed immune systems… glad your mis read of my comment caused so much laughter… lol

ok that makes more sense, so kids play outside crawl and roll in the muck climb trees rub there mouth, nose, eat sand and dirt; but if any of it comes inside with them and drops on the table they might die? I’m sorry but can you document a single case of anything like this happening? As for the animals I have seen many humans kissing, patting, wrestling, hunting, killing animals and they dont seem to die. Some people have animals that walk across their dinner tables, research suggests that children who grow in such an environment actually develop a more healthy immune system.

    Stair/counter combo is unconscionable!

I really LIKE the stair /table idea! An ingenious way to utilize space.
Table cloth keeps the table clean and a spray bottle of bleach cleanser if thats not good enough. Sweet!

I like everything except having feet traveling over the food prep and eating area. Other than that, it’s nice.

Sorry but I just can’t get beyond feet on the same table were I eat. You can scrub with bleach until kingdom come, but I wouldn’t eat on that table.

But you’d eat a hamburger provided by any major Fast Food outlet without any qualms I bet. Even after all the horror stories too that’ve been broadcast on TV/websites.

My old man used to say, and I sort of agree, a little bit of clean dirt ain’t dirty. Suppose it depends on your definition of clean dirt. Plenty of dirt flying around when you go camping in a tent, especially in the backwoods.

Neat cabin. Ditch the bunks for a living room and it would be a nice getaway for me and my lady…

I also cannot see the best use of the stairs. What are you stepping on to get onto the countertop? Now I see the two step counter in the corner. Even the bunks look uncomfortable. Is that cloth or one inch mattress on the bunk? Is that heat register under the table safe to touch? Sorry folks this design is not for me inside. Outside is not too bad.

Great for a back yard studio, but nothing more than that I afraid…!

True. I mean I guess you can add an outhouse, outdoor kitchen, or even cook using camping equipment.

What is with the ladder on the table?? Sorry most ridicules thing I have ever seen…might as well have a regular ladder and get rid of the other “steps”. But I can’t be all mean!! It is cute as a bug on the outside!!

Hi, thanks for sharing the tiny home. I love the bunk beds idea as well as the rest. I feel the ideas for the space available are well thought out. Any good disinfectant wipes could take care of the germ problems that are in the minds of others. Looks like an outhouse type of deal must be happening? Otherwise where’s the loo? I hope you and yours are happy in your tiny home. Happy trails!

I like the outside layout. Kitchen area needs a bit of re-planning. A bit too ‘raw’ looking plus unsanitary.

I love the concept. I would make the table portable and a rope ladder leading to the loft. I wouldn’t want to live in it but it would make a great home addition project.
