Please tell me this is still under construction.

This is about the size of the tiny house (shed) I am hoping to put up for myself in the back garden but I personally would lose the bath and give the toilet (composting of course) more privacy. I would also add an enclosed porch to the building to give more space while still getting privacy via the screening. As a painter and seamstress this would be a perfect solution, having a tiny house where I can live and work the hours that suit me (early to bed and early to rise – and work) but which don’t suit the rest of the family.

ps:that would be a wrap around porch and bigger windows, should have made that clearer, I have a house cat who would love the chance to do her ‘bird watching’ outside.

Well I hope this is not the finished product. The wall where the kitchen and part bath is on I would remove one window and enclose the bathroom. This is cute but needs alittle more work.

Does this have a loft? Because I see a window above the front door. Need more pictures please.

That part is decorative, Garden houses are like a folly or garden shed. They serve as elaborate garden decoration and a small open space for any needs you may have while in your garden… as in gardens you can walk a long time through and may need something like a bathroom so you won’t have to go all the way back to the main house that may be a long walk away.

It’s not intended to be used as a home… Though, you could convert one into a guest house but they’re mainly intended to just help the owner enjoy their garden…

If I were living alone, I wouldn’t need walls and a door on my bathroom. I would want to hide the toilet so I don’t see it, but keeping the space open would be best, because it is such a small space. This is a good design for a tiny living space for one person who does not intend to have guests. Entertain outside, or elsewhere!

That’s not the same exterior. The door is centered on the interior shots and off centered on the exterior shots. Also. I would put the toilet in the back corner and close it off. Flip the tub drain to that side for any plumbing wall needs that the toilet may share. Would open up the leftover usable space and provide privacy.

You’re right and the one with the exterior shot has no windows in the door and the interior shot has windows in the door

It’s possible it’s a different exterior but Garden houses are meant to be decorative. So the exterior doesn’t have to match the interior…

Especially, if the owner doesn’t want anyone else using it. So the actual door could be what looks to be a wall/window and what looks to be the door may not open at all.

Why has there been included a picture of a different building’s exterior? What does the building look like that we’re seeing the interior of? I like the open interior plan. I don’t mind the open bathroom. This is obviously designed for one person that doesn’t entertain.

Read my reply to Maria, the name is literal, it’s a Garden house!
